CMyOpportunity is a powerful career guidance tool that provides students with an analysis of their personality and strengths, then guides them towards their most suitable career options.
Our student assessment takes around 90 minutes to complete - online. And once complete, we provide the student with two reports:
- strengths report
- job options report
These reports act as a guide to the careers the student should consider.
Skills for the future
CMyOpportunity was successfully tested in TAFE NSW in a proof of concept program. Over three days we assessed 120 TAFE NSW students enrolled in design, HR and hospitality. The students were measured against the skills that employers in these fields said they would look for in future staff.
Our results were exciting:
- Head teachers reported that the research would help them design courses to ensure graduating students were employable.
- Participating employers felt the approach addressed their long-held concerns that students lacked the right employability skills.
We also assessed a range of students within a Catholic School, where the assessments and results, received excellent reviews. Engaged parents suggested that such programmes should be integrated into the curriculum.
