A Galaxy survey shows over two million Australians are unhappy in careers they fell in to. Interview with Stuart McLean, says the new assessment was built in association with the Federal Govt and is based on the Employability Skills Framework. McLean says if you can get the right people in the right jobs, they will be happy and remain in the position for a longer time. He adds that in a skills crisis, it is important to place people who are capable of carrying out the job for which they are hired. McLean discusses career guidance and the problems facing people who would like to change jobs. He comments that many companies are unaware of the potential of their staff.
